During an April 2024 survey, approximately 73 percent of consumers in the United Kingdom (UK) with a household income between 26,000 and 51,999 British pounds reported feeling frustrated when receiving online ads based on their search history or online activities. Among those earning up to 25,999 pounds, the share stood at 68 percent, while 69 percent of respondents in the 52,000 to 99,999 pounds bracket expressed similar frustration.Â
