As of early 2026, software development was the most fully deployed AI use case among financial industry respondents at ** percent, followed by data visualisation (** percent) and process automation (** percent) - all within the operations category. Among risk and compliance use cases, fraud detection led at ** percent, while front office applications such as customer support and sales and CRM lagged slightly behind. Overall, most use cases saw considerably higher combined pilot and full deployment rates: process automation reached ** percent and customer support ** percent in total active adoption, indicating that many applications are well advanced in development even where full deployment remains partial.
