During a March 2026 survey among adults in the United States, approximately ** percent of respondents said that, when advertisements used Gen Z and/or Gen Alpha slang terms, it had no real effect on how they felt about the product or brand being advertised. Around ** percent stated that they were more likely to see such a brand negatively, while ** percent would see it more positively. Little more than two years earlier, in January 2024, only ** percent said they would see the advertised product more positively, and nearly **** stated that they would see it more negatively.
