During a March 2026 survey among adults in the United States, approximately ** percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 said that, when advertisements used Gen Z and/or Gen Alpha slang terms, they were more likely to view the product or brand being advertised more positively. Among participants aged 55 and older, that share stood at *** percent. According to the same study, U.S. adults' positive views of brands using Gen Z/Gen A lingo increased between 2024 and 2026, but it remained largely ineffective.
