According to a July 2023 study of mobile iOS users in the United States, when picking up their mobile device, the Messages app was used first *** times in a week by participants identified in the millennials generation, and ** times by Gen Z participants. Snapchat was the app Gen Z users picked up first the most, after their regular messaging app. Additionally, the Threads app was opened less than ** times per week when users first engaged with their smartphones.
