Personalized content has become increasingly important for the success of social media advertising, especially among female consumers. According to a 2023 survey conducted by in China, about ** percent of female respondents stated that they were only interested in viewing social media ads that are customized to their interests or likes, slightly higher than their male counterparts. About ** percent of male respondents could accept such sponsored advertisements because the use of social media platforms is free, compared to only a third of female respondents saying so.
