During 2020's Black Friday shopping event, roughly half of consumers in the Netherlands who are skipping Black Friday stated that they had no desire to drive themselves crazy over discounts. A handful of Dutch consumers stated that they are skipping it as a result of the coronavirus: some wish to more economical, while others have already bought what they need due to COVID-19 or working from home.
