On Sunday, May 29, 2022, the first round of the presidential elections will be held in Colombia. As in the previous polls for the general elections and presidential candidates by party, Gustavo Petro, leader of the Historic Pact, is leading the race in various surveys. However, in none does he reach the 50 percent plus one necessary to avoid a second round.
