How relevant are the revelations of documents like the Panama Papers, Paradise Papers, or Pandora Papers to public opinion? In Honduras, their importance does not seem significant, as 21 percent of the electorate in the Central American country supports Nasry "Tito" Asfura, mentioned in the Pandora Papers, for the presidential elections in November 2021. However, Asfura was surpassed by Xiomara Castro in the polls following the union of the National Party and the Liberal Party of Honduras. Nevertheless, Castro has also found herself in the political eye of the storm, as she was the first lady of Manuel "Mel" Zelaya, who was expelled from the country in 2010 for treason.
