The source defines purchase intent clicks as the amount of times a consumer has clicked through to a minimum of one retailer during one session.
In order to understand digital shopping behavior, key e-commerce performance indicators were collected across hundreds of brands and over 250 channels, as well as more than 7,000 retailer integrations.

In 2023, Amazon was the top online retailer for beauty brands in the United States based on the share of purchase intent clicks.  With a percentage of ****, Walmart came in second, followed by Target with **** percent. Purchase intent clicks refer to the amount of times a consumer has clicked through to a minimum of one retailer during one session.
