According to a survey from mid-2023, 38 percent of U.S. FAST users stated to watch content on free streaming services after they had browsed subscription-based platforms. Meanwhile, the share of consumers who turned to FAST before SVOD amounted to 29 percent. Gen Z adults and millennials were more likely to turn to FAST services before browsing subscription-based streaming platforms than Gen X viewers and baby boomers.
