According to a study from 2020 on political advertising on social media in the United States, ** percent of respondents who identified as Republican or Lean Republican said that social media companies should allow all political ads on their platform. In comparison, only ** percent of respondents, identifying as Democrats or Lean Democrats, said the same. Among all U.S. respondents, ** percent thought that social media networks should allow all political ads on their social platforms.
