In Italy, the importance of the ability to pay cash upon delivery when shopping online grew significantly from 2017 to 2022. With that being said, the share of regular e-shoppers who reported that the possibility of paying cash on delivery was important in 2022 was 94 percent, up from 51 percent in 2017.
