Approximately seven percent of individuals surveyed in Italy in November 2023 said they planned to purchase flowers, perfumes or beauty products, and chocolates or other confectionery as a gift for Valentine's Day. About 40 percent of surveyed Italians did not intend to buy anything for the occasion.
