According to a Taiwanese consumer survey conducted by in May 2021, an increase in subscription fee was the second most common reason to cancel subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) accounts, with ** percent of male respondents who were planning to unsubscribe such services in the next three months saying so. The same survey found that those who intended to stop paying for SVOD services in the next three months in Taiwan accounted for ** percent among the surveyed users.
