In an online survey conducted in May 2024, about ** percent of respondents in urban India reported having seen political ads on YouTube, while less than ** percent cited television as the most common platform for political ads. Approximately three-quarters of the respondents reported that they had seen some form of political advertisement during the **** general elections held that year. Additionally, the majority of respondents in India reported seeing advertisements from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
