*The source counts the answers of the survey conducted in December 2024 as figures for fiscal year 2024. The Japanese fiscal year starts on April 1 of the stated year and ends on March 31 of the following year.
Respondents were asked to which degree the internet offered information that can be trusted. There were five possible answers: "One can trust all of it," "One can trust most of it," "About half and half," "One can only trust a part of it," "One cannot not trust it at all." The values shown in this statistic represent the combined share of respondents who answered either "One can trust all of it" or "One can trust most of it."
Sample size of age groups: 13 to 19 years: n=140 20 to 29 years: n=218 30 to 39 years: n=237 40 to 49 years: n=306 50 to 59 years: n=330 60 to 69 years: n=271 70 to 79 years: n=298
