According to a survey conducted by the in Japan in July 2024, ** percent of the respondents liked Peko-chan and Poko-chan. The two mascots, which belong to the confectionery company Fujiya Co. Ltd., were the most popular company mascots in Japan, ahead of Chiko-chan, a mascot of Japan's national broadcaster NHK. Chiko-chan is part of a family trivia show that was first aired by NHK in 2018.
