Advertising in Ireland – statistics & facts
Some markets struggled to become healthier after the pandemic; the Irish advertising industry did not. Between 2020 and 2025, Ireland's ad revenues rose by almost 50 percent, surpassing 1.5 billion euros in the latter year. The annual value was expected to increase again in 2025, albeit at a single-digit rate. At least in part, this market's successful story results from its highly digitized environment: online channels accounted for nearly two-thirds of the Irish ad expenditure, leaving TV at a distant second with little more than 15 percent.
