Decumulation and pension related customer complaints in the UK 2010-2023
The number of complaints to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding the decumulation and pension products and services in the United Kingdom (UK) fluctuated significantly between the first half of 2010 and the second half of 2023. The lowest amount of complaints relating to decumulation and pension were recorded in the second half of 2016 when there were only around 47,000 complaints. In the second half of 2023, the FCA received nearly 87,000 customer complaints about pension and retirement-related products.
