Branch banking usage decreased overall between 2019 and 2025 but remained relatively high among bank account holders in the United States. According to ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ's Consumer ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ, the share of bank account holders who processed banking matters in person in a branch was ** percent in the fourth quarter of 2025, percentage points less than in the first half of 2019. Branch banking usage dropped rather notably in 2019 and 2020 but has remained stable since then. While the popularity of branch banking dropped, mobile banking usage increased during the same period.
