Branch banking remained a popular method to process banking matters in Italy in 2025. According to ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ's Consumer ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ, the share of bank account holders who processed banking affairs in person in a branch was 46 percent in the third quarter of 2025, five percentage points lower than in the first half of 2019. Despite almost half of all respondents banking in person, both mobile and online banking were more common in 2025.
