Capitalizing on the ever-growing desire to buy fashion online, the company was initially funded and overseen by the Otto Group. About You has three co-CEOs 鈥 Sebastian Betz, Tarek M眉ller, and Hannes Wiese 鈥 who handle tech and product, marketing and brands, as well as operations and finance, respectively. As of 2023, About You actively operates in 26 European countries including its home market of Germany, selling clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories from their own two labels, About You and Edited, as well as from over 1,500 brands.
