This statistic illustrates the share of customers with a positive retail banking experience in the leading selected European banking systems (countries) as of 2016. Approximately 70.6 percent of surveyed bank customers in the Netherlands indicated high levels of satisfaction, ranking the country highest among European banking locations in 2016. This was followed by Czechia, with 67 percent of bank customers with a positive experience throughout the year. However, only 35.7 percent of customers of Spanish retail banks reported having a positive experience in that year.
