A survey held on AI and trust in late 2024 in the United States found that ** percent of respondents would trust news or information written by AI. This is in contrast to ** percent who said the same about content created by humans. Adults aged 25 to 44 years of age were the most likely to trust AI-written news content by a clear margin, with almost saying they would trust information created by AI 'some' or 'a lot,' whereas adults aged 65 and above were the most skeptical of AI-produced news.
