The original question was phrased by the source as follows: "Do you ever check other sources to verify the accuracy of your generative AI outputs created for school assignments?"
According to a survey conducted in April 2024 among teenagers in the United States, older teens were more likely to verify accuracy of AI-generated outputs from other sources. Around 55 percent of respondents aged between 15 to18 years reported doing so. In comparison, 35 percent of younger teens between the ages of 13 and 14 stated that they cross-check information provided by AI from other sources.
