During a survey conducted in the United States in September 2023, among entertainment workers, it was found that ** percent of them thought generative AI can be quite effective in creating sound effects for film, TV, or games. Yet this share had dropped compared to when this question was asked three months prior, when ** percent of respondents thought the same about AI. In fact, entertainment workers changed their mind on almost all accounts when it came to Gen AI performing industry tasks.
