According to a survey conducted in August 2022 among consumers in the United States who are engaging with or wanting to engage with the metaverse, ** percent of respondents said they were expecting brands to advertise within the metaverse through direct messages. This was followed by ** percent of respondents stating they expected brands to use pop-up ads in the metaverse. Another ** percent said they expected brand-employed influencers to approach them within the metaverse.
