* For the 2021 results, four separate surveys were conducted. The first survey was conducted in August 2021 with a total of 1,382 respondents. The second survey was conducted in September 2021 with a total of 1,345 respondents. The third and fourth surveys were conducted in October 2021 with 1,385 and 3,086 respondents, respectively.

Towards the end of 2021, roughly ** percent of Swedish shoppers aged 18 to 29 years old who had shopped online in the last month preferred to do so in order to avoid crowds in physical stores. This represented a year-on-year decrease within that age bracket, with ** percent of such shoppers choosing e-commerce for that reason in the previous year.
