Physical stores became a less popular location for Black Friday shopping among Danes in 2019, compared to 2018. In detail, 43 percent of Danish online shoppers planned to do their shopping in physical stores during Black Friday in 2019, whereas the corresponding percentage the year before was 45 percent. 59 percent of the respondents in 2019 expected to purchase from Danish webshops.
