This statistic shows the results of research into the average annual desktop traffic of the 100 leading online retailers in the Netherlands in 2018, ranked from highest to lowest. It shows that online retailer Bol.com generated the most traffic in 2018. Bol was followed by Apple.com, the website of Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn, domestic postal service provider PostNL and the German website of Amazon (of which a small part is translated in Dutch).

Unlike in many other countries in Europe, Amazon is not active in the Netherlands. Instead, the e-commerce company uses a partially translated version of their German website to appeal to the Dutch audience. Within the Netherlands, Bol.com and Coolblue are the leading webshops, with revenues reaching **** billion euros and *** million euros respectively in 2017.
