This statistic presents the results of a survey on the level of concern about the misuse of personal information by companies and authorities in the European Union (EU-28) as of March 2015. During the survey period, it was found that ** percent of respondents reported being very concerned about authorities and private companies using their personal information, without a prior notification, for a different purpose than the one it was collected for.
