Accenture Song became the world’s largest advertising agency group in 2024, reporting a revenue of ** billion U.S. dollars and overtaking long-time leader WPP. The London-based WPP slipped to second place, with a reported revenue of **** billion. Song's first place highlights the rise of consulting firms in agency rankings.  

Accenture Song: rapid growth in recent years

Functioning under the broader structure of the consulting giant Accenture, Song offers creative, marketing, and advertising services. Accenture's marketing arm was founded in 2009 as Accenture Interactive and rebranded to Accenture Song in 2022, bringing together over 40 agencies into one network. Since then, the agency group recorded a 25 percent increase in its revenue. As of September 2025, Accenture announced changes in its growth model, absorbing Song in its new business unit, Reinvention Services.

Omnicom-IPG merger set to reshape the advertising industry

The top 15 leading ad agency groups include the Big Six legacy agency holding companies: WPP, Publicis Groupe, Omnicom, Interpublic (IPG), Dentsu Group, and Havas. Together, they generated a revenue of around ** billion dollars in 2024. With Omnicom's takeover of IPG to be finalized in 2025, the group will emerge as the number one player in the advertising arena, surpassing Accenture Song's revenue.
