In 2022, there were more than 14.96 thousand advertising agencies across the United States, up 14 percent from approximately 13.17 thousand a decade earlier. Within the same period, the number of public relations (PR) firms in the U.S. increased by almost seven percent, amounting to almost 8.64 thousand in 2022.
