According to an opinion survey conducted in Colombia in April 2022, more than 60 percent of the people interviewed stated that low wages and lack of employment are the main economic problems in the country. High prices were the second most mentioned issue by the respondents, with 15.6 percent of the total. Inflation is a constant problem in Colombia; in fact, it recorded the sixth highest inflation rate in South America.
