Approximately ** percent of Latin Americans stated that the poor were the most discriminated against people in their country, according to a survey conducted between 2020 and 2021. On the other hand, * percent of participants at the regional level considered that indigenous people were the group that suffers the most discrimination. Of course, there are differences in these perceptions depending on the country. For example, this percentage rose to ** percent of respondents in Guatemala, the second country with the highest percentage of indigenous population in Latin America.
