A study conducted in February 2025 among adult internet users in the United States found that ** percent of participants said they had read the summaries of artificial intelligence (AI) while conducting online searches. At the same time, ** percent said they did not read the summary at all. One ** of those who answered compared it to regular search results, and one looked at the sources that were listed in the summary.
