The occupational status of Swedish consumers affects their online shopping levels, according to data from 2024. Consumers who are employed tend to shop online the most, with ** percent. Students were another group with high levels of e-commerce engagement, with over *out of ten students having made purchases online. Retirees were the least likely to shop online, but their shares were still quite high, as more than half of them had made online purchases in the past three months.
