Climate finance contributions of the European Union 2013-2022
The European Union raised almost ** billion euros in climate finance contributions from public sources in 2022. These funds, which go towards helping developing countries mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change, have more than doubled since 2013. The EU and its member states are the largest provider of public climate finance in the world.
