According to a survey conducted in the United States in January 2023, 53 percent of adults stated that they felt changes on social media platforms, such as new security measures and additional features, were going in the wrong direction. Overall, Gen Z adults were the most positive about new security measures and features on social media, with 62 percent belonging to this generation reporting that they thought changes were going in the right direction. Moreover, Baby Boomers were the most likely to feel that security measures and new features were on the wrong track.
