Consumers are open to making changes in order to live more sustainably, and removing poorer choices from the equation is one way to help them reach that goal. When asked if they would be okay with fruits and vegetables only being available when they are in season in 2022, over 80 percent of survey respondents in France said yes. At roughly 60 percent, consumers in the United States were least receptive to the idea.
