According to survey results from February and March 2020, Finnish companies in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry were largely affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In the end of March 2020, roughly 96 percent of the respondents said that their company had received booking cancellations because of the COVID-19 outbreak. About a month earlier, the corresponding figure of the companies was 57 percent. Only two percent of the companies stated that they did not face a drop in bookings by the end of March 2020.
