Opinion of Russians about the U.S.-Iran conflict development in 2020
According to the survey, Russians did not have a clear prediction about the development of the conflict between the United States and Iran that escalated in January 2020 after the U.S.-led drone strike killed an Iranian major general Qasem Soleimani. While 35 percent of respondents who were informed about the conflict expected the dispute to escalate further, 33 percent believed that the tension would diminish.
