According to a survey conducted during the pre-festive season in India, a majority of respondents had not been offered incentives to write positive reviews or ratings of products online. In contrast, about percent of shoppers were. The pre-festive season in the country refers to the annual Hindu festivals of Dusshera and Deepavali when retail sales usually peak.
