This statistic presents the percentage of smart speaker owners in the United States who use smart speakers to research product prices in December 2017 and September 2018, by gender. According to the findings, in December 2017, 53 percent of male respondents who owned a smart speaker reported to using their device to research product prices, while in comparison 46 percent of female respondents stated similar responses. In September 2018, there was an increase in device usage by male respondents, with 70 percent of them stating to using their device for this purpose.
