GWA Effie, Cannes Effectiveness, Euro Effie, Effie Worldwide, AME; one point for each shortlist placement per competition, bronze = 2, silver = 4, gold = 6 points; see comments for further information
The source provides the following explanation:
AME is weighted by a factor of 3 all other competitions by a factor of 10.
The total score of each agency results from multiplying the points from each competition with the respective factor, thus determining its place in the ranking.
All agencies listed as handing in a case receive the same amount of points. If several agencies hand in a case together, the listed participants are marked with a footnote.
If several agencies are listed but belong to the same agency group by corporate law, the points are awarded once for the whole group. An agency belongs to a group if it holds a share of 25 percent or more. Holdings that are not operating actively themselves do not count as an agency group.
