Less than one year away from the next presidential election in France, voting intentions are already drawing strong interest from the media and the public, even though past early surveys have proven inaccurate. 

As of May 2026, Jordan Bardella, the president of the far-right party, the National Rally, came out on top with almost one-third of the voters. In second place was Édouard Philippe, former Prime Minister under current President Macron, followed by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of the country's main leftist force.
