Citation formats

The first round of the 2022 French presidential elections will take place on Sunday, April 10. Several political figures had declared their candidacy as of April 6, 2022, including Jean-Luc Mélenchon for La France insoumise, Yannick Jadot for Europe Écologie-Les Verts, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan for Debout la France, Éric Zemmour, and Marine Le Pen for the Rassemblement National.
As of April 6, 2022, the incumbent president Emmanuel Macron was leading the voting intentions with 26.5 percent. Marine Le Pen, candidate for the far-right party Rassemblement National, was credited with 23 percent of the voting intentions, which is 5 points less than in the first barometer of this series of polls dated January 25, 2021.
