Did the French visit heritage sites in 2018? These places filled with culture and history include monuments and museums, as well as temporary exhibitions.
One third of the respondents in this survey reported visiting heritage sites occasionally, that is, once or twice a year. On the other hand, we observe that 39 percent of the French had not made any visits to this type of place during the year.
Among heritage site enthusiasts, 13 percent of them visited monuments but not museums, while a minority of respondents reported the opposite, visiting museums but not monuments. Thus, museum visitors seemed to have a more diverse cultural practice than monument visitors.
