In 2018, 13 percent of French people were monument and museum lovers, visiting one of these cultural sites at least three times during the year. This survey focuses on the common places where those monument enthusiasts go.

One-out-of-two French people said that they visited monuments both in their region and when traveling. More than a third of museum and monument lovers visited monuments outside their region. To a lesser extent, 16 percent of respondents were satisfied with regional monuments.
